EMRS Admit Card 2025 : How to prepare

To prepare effectively for the EMRS 2025 exam, you need a high-impact strategy. Since the exams are scheduled for December 13, 14, and 21, you are in the final countdown.

 Priority 1: The Qualifying Hurdle

For TGT and PGT posts, the Language Competency Test is the most critical. If you don’t score 40% (4 out of 10) in English and Hindi separately, your main paper will not even be checked.

  • English: Focus on Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, and Basic Grammar (Tenses, Articles).

  • Hindi: Focus on Sandhi, Samas, Muhavare, and Unseen Passages.

## 2. High-Scoring Revision Strategy (Daily Schedule)

Divide your day into three shifts to cover all bases without burning out:

ShiftFocus AreaWhat to do?
Morning (3 Hours)Domain KnowledgeRevise your core subject. Use NCERT (Class 6-12) as the base. Focus on NEP 2020 & Experiential Pedagogy.
Afternoon (2 Hours)General Paper & ICTPractice Reasoning (Series, Blood Relation) and ICT (Computer basics, MS Office, Shortcuts).
Evening (3 Hours)Mock Test & AnalysisSolve one full-length PYQ or Mock Test. Analyze every mistake you made.
Night (1 Hour)Quick RevisionBrush up on Current Affairs (Education & Tribal updates) and Language rules.

## 3. Post-Specific Focus Areas

  • For Hostel Warden: Prioritize Administrative Aptitude and POCSO Acts. These are unique sections and carry high weightage.

  • For TGT/PGT: Ensure you have a deep grip on Teaching Aptitude and the implementation of NEP 2020 in schools.

  • For JSA/Accountant: Focus on Quantitative Aptitude and Basic Computer Operation.

## 4. Expert Preparation Tips

  1. Eliminate Negative Marking: Remember, there is a 0.25 negative marking. Do not guess blindly. If you can eliminate two options, only then take a calculated risk.

  2. ICT is Scoring: Most ICT questions are predictable (Full forms, Shortcuts, Internet basics). Don’t ignore this section; it’s an easy 10–20 marks.

  3. NEP 2020 & Tribal Schemes: Since EMRS is for tribal students, read about the National Education Policy 2020 and recent tribal welfare schemes launched by the Government of India in 2024-25.

  4. OMR Practice: The exam is offline. Practice filling circles on an OMR sheet to avoid “bubbling errors” which cost many students their selection.

## 5. Last Minute “Do’s and Don’ts”

  • Do: Carry two black/blue ballpoint pens and a clear print of your admit card.

  • Do: Reach the center at least 60 minutes before the reporting time.

  • Don’t: Start a brand new complex topic 2 days before the exam. Focus on what you already know.

  • Don’t: Panic during the Language section. Stay calm to ensure you cross the 40% qualifying mark.
